Summary
As a Lateral Lining Foreman, this role will oversee and direct the installation of Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lateral lining systems, ensuring quality workmanship, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with field crews, project managers, and clients to deliver successful installations.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise and direct lateral lining installation crews on job sites.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with LMK Technologies specifications and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule jobs and ensure proper resource allocation.
- Conduct pre-and post-installation inspections to verify quality and adherence to standards.
- Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, inspectors, and other stakeholders regarding project progress.
- Ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of lateral lining equipment and materials.
- Identify and troubleshoot installation challenges, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and safety compliance records.
- Ensure proper execution of lateral lining installations in compliance with LMK Technologies specifications.
- Maintain a high level of quality control, minimizing rework and ensuring first-time installation success.
- Enforce and improve safety measures to prevent incidents and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
- Effectively lead and train field crews, enhancing their skills and productivity.
- Optimize job-site efficiency to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites.
- Ensure that tasks are performed safely with the highest level of quality and integrity.
- Arrive at the office or job site on time and ready to work.
- Adhere to company policies.
- Works when scheduled and complies with the company's attendance policy.
- Travel to various job sites as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license is required, and pass a DOT drug test.
- Must be able to obtain a 1st Class B permit within the first 90 days of employment.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience installing LMK Technologies CIPP lateral lining products.
- Strong knowledge of lateral lining rehabilitation methods, including main-to-lateral connections.
- Ability to lead and supervise a field crew effectively.
- Proficiency in using CIPP installation equipment and tools.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage, train, and develop field crews.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges in the field.
- Knowledge of industry safety regulations, quality control, and best practices for trenchless rehabilitation.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using industry-specific equipment and software for project tracking and reporting.
- Must be able to interpret and implement company-mandated safety policies.
- Ability to manage, plan, schedule, and undertake work safely, independently, and professionally.
- Must adhere to safety policies and procedures, contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and demonstrate proficiency in wearing and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Work may be performed in industrial settings and outdoor environments, exposing employees to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, noise, mechanical and electrical hazards, chemical exposure, odors, and fumes. The role requires the ability to enter confined spaces as needed and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include climbing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, prolonged standing, and using hands and fingers to operate tools.
Travel Requirements: Must be willing and able to travel weekly as required and on weekends as needed.
